Therefore to slow down the spread of the deadly virus, there are travel restriction laws enacted to curb down the number of people who can travel to Europe right now.

 

Some of the restrictions would be listed below and also a few other strategies that can make your trip to Europe possible, fast and easy.

 

Europe has restricted all non-essential travels at the moment so as to help curb down the spread of the virus.

 

Europe COVID travel restrictions

So many countries in Europe like Portugal, Finland, Croatia, Czech republic, Greece, Sweden, Poland, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom no longer observe travel restrictions as it relates to covid-19.

 

These countries need no certificates or documentation of Covid-19 vaccination reports or test reports.

However, some countries still observe strictly the Covid-19 restrictions including Covid-19 vaccination certificates, recovery certificates for those who had been infected.

They also require a negative PCR test result 72 hours before departure from their country.

Children who are over 6 and under 18 with a negative PCR test taken at least 72 hours before departure can travel to any European country.

Netherlands is the only country in Europe that does not allow unvaccinated travelers from outside Europe to enter the country.

Other European countries like Spain and Malta are open to travelers who have not been vaccinated.

They can enter Spain and Malta at any time provided that they had been tested 72 hours before departure.

However, masks are required in some countries whereas some countries do not require them at all.
